  • Over three, 75-minute sessions, you’ll meet with Rachel (a Certified Lactation Counselor) or Amanda (a Certified Professional Midwife) to explore:

    1. postpartum healing

    2. newborn care

    3. breastfeeding

These engaging sessions are unlike any perinatal education out there. We introduce clear, memorable frameworks—called mental models—to help you navigate postpartum with confidence (without having to memorize endless tips and facts). Our mental models counter pesky myths and unrealistic expectations, and replace them with helpful, science-based ways of thinking about the fourth trimester.

We will also spend time talking through the relational, identity, and logistical shifts you might experience. We will share critical tools to prepare your partnership and family system for the postpartum period.

  • The ideal time is at the beginning of the third trimester—after your birth preferences are in place, but before you're fully in the home stretch. That way, your mental and emotional energy can shift toward preparing for life after birth.

  • We’ll work around your availability. Most couples schedule their sessions about 1–2 weeks apart to allow time for reflection and conversation in between.

  • We’ll explore breastfeeding because it’s a big part of how the postpartum period is often experienced and discussed. But your feeding choices are your own, and we’ll always center what feels right for your family. Whether you’re all in, uncertain, or planning to formula-feed, you’re in the right place.

  • The full cost of the experience is $700. This includes three 75-minute private coaching sessions that blend expert guidance, thought-provoking exercises, and real-time conversations to help you get aligned around the parts of early parenthood that often go unspoken.

You’ll also receive prep tools—checklists, conversation guides, and worksheets—to help turn insight into action between sessions, plus a recap of your key takeaways to reference after your baby arrives.

  • Yes. This experience is designed specifically for couples. The insights, planning, and conversations are most powerful when both partners are actively involved.

  • Please check out Flow State. This is for women who are eager to bring The Onboarding work into their relationship — even if their partner’s schedule doesn’t allow them to join yet. It is a cohort-based, group experience where you'll learn the same frameworks from The Onboarding, reflect on your own transformation, and receive guided conversation tools to bring your partner along the journey.

  • Absolutely! Please reach out to Rachel to arrange gifting.
